Holidays have been a tough time so far. I'm not really one to complain about my family life but my biological family has inspired some of my worst nightmares around this time of the year. The best one I can remember is about my mother, named Mary, who I no longer speak to for many reasons.

It was about her being a manikin with green glowing eyes. They seemed lifeless and doll like. She kept chasing me. Indeed, many of my nightmares are about my abusive mother chasing me and being unable to get away. It makes for good creepypasta. Largely now I have taken control of my life but I know my subconscious is telling me something . . .

I am most pleased with how this turned out. Manikins are surprisingly hard to draw because you don't want them to look too life like but also you want to convey their creepy doll-like nature.

Dolls are also creepy.
